When Justin took Christy to the park for their first date, she had been traveling outside of the US for the 4th of July, which was just a few days before, and he surprised her with sparklers. One year later when he proposed, he did the same thing. So of course, we had to include a few shots with a little sparkle! I made them try the heart. :)

My First Post!
So I decided to be like everyone else and start a blog! In all seriousness though, I thought a blog would be the perfect chance to share some stories behind some of the images I capture, the stories that really tell how special these images and the people behind them are. This first couple is a perfect example! I met Christy and Justin through a bridal show in Duncanville. They are such a sweet couple, and when they asked if I would shoot their engagements in a new location I told them YES! (I love trying out new spots.) So they told me to meet them at a park in Highland Park where Justin proposed. I thought the idea was really sweet...but then when I got there, Christy told me that not only had Justin proposed there, but they had their first date there as well! Justin had recreated their first date for the proposal, and now we were recreating it for their engagement photos! I LOVED it! So here are a few images from the session:
